The Bushmaster Conservation Project is a H.E.R.P. Conservation Program and the first ever in-situ conservation effort for the enigmatic Central American Bushmasters (Lachesis stenophrys).
Next to protecting this flagship species and its habitat, we are working on shining some light on its cryptic lifestyle, slowly unveiling bushmaster ecology.
Field herpers, naturalists and enthusiasts are able to visit our project in the South of Costa Rica. Students are also welcome to come over and follow internships in our project.
